Kapok Special Event Center Reception

Erica and Derek were married in February 2008 in  St. Petersburg at The  Seventh Day Adventist Church. The ceremony was started with live music by a violinst to great the guests and then when Erica was escorted by her father, Chuck Weirich from TampaBayDJ.com played the trumpet for her grand entrance. The Bride and Groom rode in a white rolls royce from Allstar limousine to the reception. The reception was held at the Kapok Special Event Center in Clearwater. Erica and Derek had chosen the color chocolate and ivory for their wedding. Erica also used a pearl style theme as the accent for the reception. The guests were greeted as they arrived to the reception by a Steel Drummer and were served passed appetizers and punch and lemonade while they strolled thru the Gardens. After all of the guests were seated in the Ballroom and the Wedding Party and Parents formally introduced down the Grand Staircase into the Ballroom, Erica and Derek were introduced to a Loud roar of applause and they proceeded right into their First Dance under the beautiful chandelier in the ballroom. After the first dance, the guests were treated to a plated dinner served by Olympia Catering. The background music and Mc services were supplied by Chuck Weirich of Tampabaydj.com . The guests were treated again as they left the reception with personalized mugs filled with a to go bag of Hot Cocoa mix complete with marshmallows and chocolate chips. There were also small boxes filled with single serving size black cake for the guests to enjoy with their Hot Cocoa , baked for the occasion by family members.
