Tent Set-up
Here is a sneak preview of Jaime and Bryan’s Wedding reception tent set-up. Thanks to Jesse from Fast Party rentals( www.fastpartyrentals.com ) for the fabulous picture at 7:45pm last night. That is when he finished all of the lighting. Special Moments was asked to attend the W.E.V.A. Convention in Orlando yesterday. We spent the beginning of the day at the Association of Bridal Consultants (A.B.C.) booth explaining how it can be beneficial to a vendor to be a member of this association. Later in the night we were on the panel of Professional Bridal Consultants, judging for “Battle of the Videographer”. This is when the different regions of the association get together and compete on the commercial that will be shown to brides and grooms, informing them about hiring a professional in the W.E.V.A. program.

Bonnie and Adam were married on July 11th, 2008 at Safety Harbor Resort and Spa.
This was absolutely a great wedding. The color choices were gorgeous, watermelon and brown. The wedding was at one of our favorite places to work at. (Safety Harbor Resort and Spa) The ceremony was held out on the pool deck, with amazing flowers by Flowers by Jenny. After the ceremony, the guests tossed freeze dried rose petals from rose petal cones hung on the back of every chair. Their cake was provided by Chantilly Cakes, which is always amazing. They had by far, the most amazing DJ I have ever met in my entire life, Chuck Weirich from Classified Events. He is not only a DJ but he is a musician, he plays the trumpet for his brides & grooms. This wedding was something we will never forget. The bride loved her hair and make-up which was provided by Michele Renee. The memories were captured by Brian C. Idocks Photographics, who is also “2007 Photography of the Year.” We are looking forward to seeing the great wedding video provided by En Fuego Video.

We were involved in a wedding in May 2007 for Natalie and Geoffrey that was dear to our hearts and taught us that even as Wedding Planners, you can still cry when a bride walks down the aisle at the gorgeous St Joseph’s Catholic Church in St. Petersburg Florida and her 500 plus guests watched on… Natalie married Geoffrey in an emotional Ceremony. Thanks to being involved in Natalie’s wedding. Tammy Waterman ( Owner and Founder of Special Moments) received her Accredited Bridal Consultant status with the Association of Bridal Consultants and became the first planner in the Tampa Bay Area to achieve this status with the Association in November 2007 at the Association’s Annual Conference in Orlando which she was also on the committee for.
